Our information channel to the world
As you will see, Prosjekt Kaliningrad is a voluntarely run foundation, aimed
at helping children in need. The organisation is originated in Norway, as of a
private initiative from the founder; Cecilie Nordstrøm. Over the past 4 years of
work, the very small foundation has contributed to great improvements
in life quality of abandoned children situated in Kaliningrad, Russia.
Please bear with us capacity problems with updating this English version of
the Web-site to a large extent. Rather feel free to get in touch with us, using
the contact information on the "contact" page! You are also welcome to take part
in the discussion forum, whether you want to express your views upon the
situation of children in general, or on our work in particular!

Prosjekt Kaliningrad was founded in 1997, motivated by the wish of helping some of the children in need that I met during my travels in Russia. Furthermore, I wanted to prove that humanitarian aid can be provided with an absolute minimum of administration costs. Ever since, we have ensured that the commitment and contributions from surrounding people and organizations actually reach the children they were meant for.
